End of September

Friday is a happy day. :D I decided to dress up a little. I matched a cream colour tee shirt of brown string details with a straw belt my sister has bought from Vietnam, and a dark brown flare skirt. The idea to dress up definitely did not come from the group in my office. They had recently flaunted numerous, colourful accessories; some bohemian, dreamy, gothic and punk (I think). And for some reason, one was thought to be for the rainy season. Haha. But no, all that did not influence me.

He’s leaving the company today. He has been with the team for a few months and I was shocked to learn about the news initially. The ins and outs of staff have quite some history. There has been at least a case of in or out every few months for the time I have existed here. The highest record that I witnessed was the departure of three in two consecutive months. I guess it is a suffering for the company but benefit for the individuals.
September has passed fast for me, despite my anticipation for payday not long after second week. Perhaps it’s the after effect of two consecutive long months, July and August. How did you find your September?

After dinner at Ginza Macdonalds, I tried some shooting of the surroundings. They show quite some noise and the car motion photo is not sharp at all. Think I need more practice. Let me know what do you think! :D

Jurong Golf Range

Went down to the range yesterday. Was happily swinging when headache started to get worse. Ended up taking some snapshots while resting and waiting for bf.

Fortunately, after 2 panadols and 7 hours of sleep last night, the headache has subsided today.

Monday, September 25

Miami Weekend

Caught Miami Vice last Friday. It was quite enjoyable but I saw many abrupt scenes from all the censor cuts. Hang out after the midnight movie and ended up sleeping at 5am in the morning. The next time I opened my eyes was past 4pm Saturday. Met up Bf for dinner before looking up Long and YL in Orchard. Together, we chilled out at Rouge Outdoor for drinks. Oh and not to miss mentioning Long's and YL's enormous ice-cream they had there. They were served in very tall wineglass shaped glasses. The ice-cream servings consists of 3 generous scoops with strawberries for Long's and brownies for YL's. Too bad I don't have any photos of them. Let's see if Long post it in his blog and I'll extract. :P

Sunday was the usual slack day till the afternoon when me and Bf made a trip the golf range. My driver was getting better, at least now the ball can fly. :D

Friday, September 15

Bf's birthday

We did not spend this day in any special way. I guess spending time together is most valuable. I bought Bf a Nike Golf polo tee. It seems that he liked it. :P

As bf has mentioned, this will be his last birthday here, in Singapore. I wonder how would the feeling be again this day next year. Right now, minds are clouded with many problems. But I'm sure we will see light and get right back on track in 6 months time.

Barclays Open Singapore 2006

Went to Sentosa last weekend to enjoy some island life. :P

The place was really packed, so many cars were parked along the roadside. Me and bf only managed to find a lot about 2km (I think) away. Fortunately, there is a free shuttle service from the carpark to the course entrance.

The Serapong course is beautiful and well maintained. I managed to catch view of black and white swans and a couple of peacocks. ;) The weather was just right, not scorching but pleasantly sunny. By the time we arrived there, the last flight of players have already teed off. So we went roamed free and easy.

I'll leave out the long details. Will be adding photos and videos soon. Congratulations to the final winner Adam Scott! :D

Wolf Blass Yellow Label Riesling 2004


Recovered more or less. Drank wine last friday. It was a very sweet one, went along very well with fruits (watermelon, papaya and pear). Did not manage to find the nacho bf wanted, so we had to leave the salsa dip for next time. :D No signs of cockroach gathering this time. Hehe.

Saturday, September 2

Hazy


The air hasnt been good. I have been sick most likely because of it. It was sore throat to cough, cough to blocked nose, blocked nose to cough again and fevers because of infection. After 2 weeks plus of deadly coughs and heavy heads, my current body condition is still poor. Air way from the nose still remain obstructed, phlegms has gotten thick and green, and my voice has turned very manly. :(

I have drank lotsa of water, learnt to drink them slowly instead of gulping. I took ginseng roots with pinch of salt. Tried to sleep for longer hours. The stubborn heatiness and virus refused to go away.

There has been no appettite for many days and gastric pains from my antibiotics is making things worse. Think I'm going to see another doctor today. I have actually finished my anitbiotics but still way to go for my recovery.
